bicycle tire pump or air compressor (preferably w/ gauge),
scissors to cut cord
hammer to pound in spikes
ideally glycerine or water-based lubricant to aid in sliding bottles over launch lugs

With this apparatus, students can launch one, two or three two-liter bottle rockets at once, making it ideal for contests and other activities requiring consistent launch conditions. Teachers and students are encouraged to use their creativity and knowledge of physics concepts to devise activities utilizing this device. One activity might include allowing students to modify their rockets for better aerodynamics. Instructions for an "egg shoot" activity, in which an egg is used as payload on the rocket , are included.
